From the ruins of Volubilis to the imperial cities,
from the Berber villages of the Atlas to the deserts of the South,
going through the highest peaks…
Aventure Berbere offers
trekking in Morocco in the deserts and the mountains,
Very close to Europe (only a 3 hours flight), Morocco offers the big scenery, in the purity of its light and the beauty of its landscapes.
From the Sahara to the Atlantic, from the Mediterranean to the Big South, from the desert sands to the snow of the mountains, a high place of trekking, adventure, and active discovery !
Atlas mountain range (700 km in length, 12 peaks of over 4 000 m and 400 more of over 3 000 m) offers the most sublime and colorful sight that you could dream of. Following the rhythm of the hike, it is an enchantment to look at, mixing the tender green of the irrigated terraces, the red of the clay slopes, the ocher and orange of the Kasbah, the blond of the barley fields, all under an azure blue.
The Moroccan South possesses the entire palette of Saharan reliefs: immense hamadas (plateaus), grandiose sand seas (ergs), majestic dunes, steep massifs, wadis dotted with tamarisk and green oasis with mint scents.
With a team of Berbers (guide, cook) and local Saharans (camel drivers), the hike will keep a good rhythm, from crest to crest, from dune to dune, while the caravan slips between the reliefs to reach the camping site, in the middle of nowhere, but still hidden in the hollow of the most beautiful dunes.
It is there, after having admired the sunset from the highest ridges, without forgetting to drink tea beforehand- ah tea, essential, mandatory! -, that you will feel so well, away from everything. It is there, under the stars, in the great Saharan silence, when the glances are eloquent and the memories of the day come, that one absorbs the full magic of the desert.
Atlantic shores, encounter with the fishermen, or the Moroccan Big South, unique transition between the mountains and the gradual passage to the desert, it is the whole range of Saharan reliefs: canyons, regs, oases, dunes, etc.
In the green palm groves or secluded adobe villages, with centuries-old traditions, meetings are frequent with Berbers, very welcoming. It is true that their legendary hospitality, their devotion, make them very endearing people.
Roam these wild lands, conducive to the encounters, alongside its proud men, and share our passion for this mixed country!
